Consumer Directed Services (CDS) is a Medicaid-funded program that allows eligible individuals who need assistance with daily activities to receive care in their own home while having greater control over who provides that care.
With CDS, Medicaid pays for your approved services—you are not paying Resilience privately for covered CDS services.
As a CDS participant, you choose and direct your caregiver. This may allow you to select someone you know and trust who meets the program's requirements. You have an active role in deciding how your approved care is provided.
Resilience Home Care is here to support you throughout the process. We help with the administrative and program responsibilities involved in your CDS services, while you remain in control of your care.

You Choose Your Caregiver
As a CDS participant, you have the ability to choose your own caregiver, including someone you know and trust, as long as they meet the program's requirements.
Medicaid Pays for Your Approved Services
CDS services are funded through Missouri Medicaid. You are not responsible for privately paying Resilience for covered CDS services.
You Remain in Control
You have an active role in directing your care and working with your caregiver. Your approved services and hours are based on your individual assessment and authorized care plan.
Resilience Supports You
Resilience Home Care helps manage the administrative and program responsibilities associated with your CDS services, including supporting you throughout the enrollment and service process.

Depending on your approved care plan, CDS may provide assistance with:
Personal care and hygiene
Toileting
Mobility and transfers
Meal preparation
Light housekeeping
Essential errands or transportation when authorized
Respite and supportive care
Other covered personal care needs
